Home again

Puppies (humans and dogs) have had a lovely October break on the Black Isle.

We’re back home now, and there’s just one little boy still looking for his forever home.

He and his littermates are a gorgeous, happy bunch of flatcoats — full of fun and affection.

Ready to leave us from November 5th.

All puppies are KC registered, vet-checked, microchipped, and wormed before leaving.

Please get in touch (email jane@gargunnock.com) if you can offer a loving home to our adorable remaining boy

Pupdate

Mousa’s pups are growing fast and keeping us all on our toes. They had their first vet visit this week, which turned into quite the social event — the whole team couldn’t resist a cuddle! Pleased to say they all did amazingly well.

The pups are growing in confidence and curiosity, exploring every nook and cranny they can find – and they can find many!! They’ve been enjoying outdoor playtime, learning about new sights and sounds, and then collapsing in cosy piles for long naps afterwards.

They really are such a joyful bunch — playful, affectionate, and already showing flashes of the lovely flatcoat temperament we know and love.

We’re soaking up these last few weeks before they start heading off to their new adventures — it’s hard to believe how quickly time has flown!

It’s been a busy week.

Mousa’s little ones are growing so quickly! Not long ago a visitor described them as “little beans” – tiny, sleepy bundles curled up together. Now they’re transforming before our eyes into “proper” puppies, full of personality and oodles of charm.

This week has been a big one for them. They had their very first trip in the car (a bit noisy, but they coped well), enjoyed a visit to the children at Cambusbarron Village Nursery (utterly adorable together), and tucked into their first solid food. Each new milestone has been taken in their stride.

Their wee faces are changing every day, eyes bright and wide open now. They’re up on their feet, beginning to scamper and explore, and their little bodies are growing stronger. It’s such a joy to watch them change and blossom – each one developing in their own unique way.

Every stage brings something new, and Mousa’s babies are proving to be a delight at every turn.

We only have 2 wee boys still looking for forever homes – please get in touch if you would like to find out more. (Jane@Gargunnock.com)

Mousa’s Babies have Arrived!

Delighted to say that Mousa’s babies have arrived! She is such a proud mum and she and her babies are all doing well. This is our “wedding” litter to celebrate their due date coinciding with the wedding date of my gorgeous neice Lizzie and her fiancé Graeme 👰💍

Some of the pups are still looking for their forever homes. If you think you could offer one of these wee ones a loving, lifelong home, please get in touch.

Puppies Incoming (🤞🏻)

Our little monkey Mousa (Craigachan’s Black Widow) recently spent a few days at Candidacasa, Rodsdream and Finhamspride Flatcoated Retrievers meeting with the dashing Finn (Sh Ch Finhamspride Kovu Among Rodsdream)! We are crossing all our fingers and toes and eagerly anticipating the pitter patter of tiny puppy feet in mid September.

This will be Mousa’s first litter and all pups are expected to be black. Pups will be raised in our home with lots of love, cuddles and early socialisation opportunities.
Get in touch if you’d like to express interest or join the waitlist!

6 weeks old already

Hard to believe that our Marvel pups are already 6 weeks old. This stage is the hardest work by far but also the most fun. Trying to get anywhere or do anything becomes a marathon with 8 babies hanging off your ankles. Islay is at the stage of pushing the pups away but Flotta remains the most patient and adoring of aunties and will spent ages lying on her back with pups crawling all over her. She’s trying to teach them how to do zoomies around the garden but, so far, and thankfully, given the disastrous muddy state we’re currently in, they have just stood and watched in amazement as she tears around. I’m sure it won’t be long before she has company!
