Anxiously waiting …

Our lovely Torsa, Craigachan Diamond Queen, has been mated with the extremely handsome Wooster (Montegrino Noble Nelson) and we are waiting anxiously for any signs of pregnancy. Torsa’s mum, Talla, kept her first litter of babies very well hidden and we weren’t sure she was pregnant until very late on so we may be waiting for a wee while yet. All being well the babies are due at the end of March so really not long to wait now.

Wooster and Torsa

Puppies in 2015?

We are pleased to say that Torsa has had all her health test back and has received a 4/4 for hips and unaffected for her eyes. This means that we are good to go for her to become a Mum for the first time next year. She was such a loving and gentle big sister when Talla had her second litter last year that I am really excited to see how she looks after her own babies.
Now to find Dad!

August 2013

Its hard to imagine that it is now a year since our first babies left us to go to their new homes.
We have been so pleased to have kept in touch with them all and to hear how well they are all doing.

We are also excited to be at the stage again of planning another litter of pups. Talla is due back in season in the autumn and, all being well, we would hope to have puppies around Christmas.

Please get in touch if you would like to be added to our puppy waiting list.

July 30th 2012

8 weeks have just flown past and we are almost ready to say goodbye to our first puppies. They have been a delight to look after and we will miss them. We are keeping our little bitch pup however and are looking forward to spending some “quality” time with her without her brothers getting in on the act.
We are delighted that all our boys are going to good homes, 3 to flatcoat people and 1 to a local family – it will be lovely to see him as he grows.

Holidays

Have arrived on the Black Isle after a very wet if in eventful journey. Everyone barring the pups squashed in around them. Since arriving I have started them on solid food – mashed puppy meal mixed with puppy milk. They are very enthusiastic about this and are wearing their dinner (breakfast, lunch and supper) with pride

June 19th

Pups have just had their first trip out to the vet – Broadleys in Dunblane.  They seem to have grown so much in the last 3 or 4 days. Their eyes opened on Sunday and today they are almost up on their feet. Talla is not spending nearly so much time in with them now, goes in to feed them and then when they need it and then is out and about. She has definitely been quieter than her usual but today saw her much more her energetic and bouncy self.
Happy to say that the vet gave all of the pups all a thumbs up – fit and healthy.
Worming and solid food next 🙂

Talla’s Puppies are here!

Talla has had her puppies! They arrived right in the middle of a family party to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee – perfect timing. Talla was an absolute star and is now the proud and doting Mum of 4 boys and a girl. One of the boys is liver. All of the pups are just beautiful.
We will keep the wee girl and are happy to say that we already have homes lined up for all of our boys
