My Gran, Jean Macfarlane was the first we know of to own a flat coat. She was an only child and Bess was her constant companion.

Ne’erday

Ne’erday was the first pet I had a child. She was a stray who arrived on our door step on New Year’s Day, hence her name.

After Neerday died we pestered Dad to get another dog and so Cari arrived, our first flat coat, a liver girl. Unfortunately we have no idea what her pedigree is, my Mum has no recollection and all I can remember is she came from Lochwinnoch.
