Our Marvel litter are just bundles of cuteness

Islay is such a fantastic mum, I never cease to be amazed at nature and how instinctive the mothering process is for animals. Islay is so attentive and protective. All 8 are growing beautifully, such a delight.

We still have some babies (boys and girls) looking for homes come the beginning of December. Please get in touch for more information.

All pups come with their KC registration & microchip.

Islay’s babies have arrived!

We are thrilled that Islay has had a beautiful litter of 8 puppies, 4 boys and 4 girls. They are just amazing and Islay is such a good mum.

We have some pups (girls and boys) looking for homes so please get in touch (craigachan@gargunnock.com) for more information. These pups will be ready to go to the new homes at the beginning of December. All pups will be KC registered, microchipped and health checked before leaving us at Craigachan.

Pitter Patter of Puppy Paws

Our gorgeous Islay spent some of her summer holiday in the company of the handsome James (Ballyriver Back to Basics) and are delighted that there will be some little puppy paws again at Craigachan in just a few weeks.
Please get in touch if you would like to be kept informed about this potential litter. We expect their arrival mid October and this will be an all black litter (all carrying their mother’s liver gene).

Lockdown Walks

Islay has been an amazing companion during lockdown and we’ve enjoyed some lovely new walks. It’s interesting to think that I tend to walk the same places over and over and, when forced to only walk close to home, I’ve found so many new paths and trails to explore!

Helping out

Islay has been coming to work with me in the woods. She is so wonderfully patient with the children who are learning so much. I see them grow in confidence and patience as they interact with her and she provides opportunities for them to become responsible and to take the lead (literally!!)

Our Easter Bunny

We are so pleased to say that, after keeping us hanging around a few days longer than we’d expected, Islay has delivered a very special singleton puppy, a little Easter Bunny. Bunny is a beautiful black bitch who has already stolen our hearts here. Being an only pup she was fairly big to start with but Islay’s care, attention and plentiful milk supply has meant that she is already well above her birth weight. We are so proud of Islay too who is just turning out to be the most attentive and careful of mothers. It was also lovely to see Granny Torsa in the whelping box supporting Islay and helping to clean both Islay and Bunny up

Easter Puppies

So delighted to say that our lovely Islay has been mated with the handsome Peter (Candidacasa Peanut) and that we are hoping for puppies around Easter. Peter’s father is a handsome liver boy and so Peter carries the liver gene. With Islay also being liver there is the potential for a mix of black and liver pups in this litter.
We were fortunate to be able to see some of Peter’s babies from an earlier litter before they went off to their new homes and they were just adorable and have really got us all at Craigachan anxious to have the patter of tiny puppy feet back in our home.
If you are interested in joining the waiting list for one of our puppies please get in touch with us at craigachan@gargunnock.com
